I love this base
Perfect item. That’s the best way I can describe this base. It raises my 27 iMac to the perfect height so that you are no longer looking down and the fit is perfect. I was skeptical of the rubber bottom and top securely holding the mac in place but trust me it does! After placing it on my glass desk I wanted to scoot it over just a bit and found that I had to lift up the mac a bit in order to move the base because it wasn’t moving otherwise.I was also skeptical of the built in drawer but as other reviewers have said, it’s a great addition and holds a surprising amount of desktop items like pens, paper clips, stickies etc. I do wish it were a bit deeper but overall it fits my needs.Lastly, no assembly is required. You literally just open the box, which was packed nicely, place it under your iMac and you’re done.Again I love this base and after shopping around a couple of weeks I believe it’s the best stand available. It’s reasonably priced, keeps the same foot print as the iMac, adds a little extra storage and looks great.

This blends in perfectly with my iMac. It’s a similar material and the build quality is great. I wish the logo wasn’t engraved in the front though

Great accessory for my 27″ iMac 2020.
I really like this stand as it looks great overall and is quite useful. The color of the aluminum is a near perfect match and the contour of the stand is about 98% perfectly fit with the iMac base so it looks like it is part of the iMac. There is a nice anti-skid pad on the bottom, much like the one on the base of the iMac stand and drawer is quite useful, decent sized (can’t be too big as it would compromise the strength of the stand), slides easily in/out (no, it doesn’t need ball bearings like some suggested), and even has a very satisfying “thunk” feel/sound when it closes. It’s super useful for storing SD cards, styluses, etc. And the elevation of the iMac base makes it more useful for storing items on the base like the keyboard as it makes it easier to pick up. Not cheap but super worth it!

Perfect Fit for 2020 27″ iMac
I recently upgraded from a 21.5″ iMac to the 2020 27″ version, and the first thing I noticed was that I was hunching over to look at things on the lower parts of the screen. I also had to tilt the monitor back every time I did a FaceTime call. This led me to start looking at monitor stands.I bought the RainDesign mBase and I am very impressed with how it matches the base of the iMac perfectly in color and dimension, and it raises the screen and camera to a perfect level. The drawer is good for storing small items like earbuds.I am also impressed with how substantial the stand is: I was expecting it to be much lighter, but it’s a serious piece of aluminum.Recommended!

Looks great and functions well
I really like this for the price. The only possible flaw is the drawer feel is a little sticky but other than that it is a good basic monitor stand that fit very well with the iMac aesthetics.

Worth the price
This stand looks fantastic. It matches the finish of the iMac perfectly – they are 100% identical. The stand lines up perfectly with the iMac as well. There is rubber on the top and bottom so the stand does not scratch the iMac stand and so it does not move around at all. I have the newest generation of 21.5″ iMac from 2013. I assume the older one will also fit the same way but I can not confirm that. The drawer is generously sized and has rubber rails on it so it opens and closes smoothly. There is also a USB sized hole in the back, so you could potentially run a charging cable through it. An iPhone 6 would fit fine, but a 6 Plus would not. I assume the drawer is larger on the 27″ model.Overall, a simple stand that perfectly matches the look and feel of the computer it is for. Has the fit and finish of an official Apple product.Highly recommended.

Very nice and sturdy. Matches well. Good drawer.
My only problems were:1. The drawer is slightly uneven so that there is a gap on the right side but flush on the left. If you’re like me, that bugs you especially when using it with an apple product that is so precise. However, I like the drawer despite that. It has a nice rubbery lining and closes nicely. The unit itself fits my iMac perfectly.2. $$$

A bit expensive, but worth it.
The 27″ iMac sits a bit low for my tastes. I had propped it up on a small box, which did the trick but was not very nice looking. I bought this Rain Design mBase and it is quite excellent. Made from aluminum, it matches the exterior of the iMac exactly. Fits the base like a glove. I put my TimeMachine disk in the drawer and ran the cable out the hole in the back. A very nice product – gets 5 stars from me.

Parece original de fábrica. Encaixa perfeitamente com o computador. Eleva a altura da tela pra corrigir a postura e ainda tem uma gaveta pra guardar objetos. O suporte tem uma perfuração na parte de trás e também na gaveta, sendo possível passar cabos por dentro. Muito bom!

Hello All, I always read the reviews so wanted to help whoever thinks to buy this.This is a very good quality base. It is same material as mu iMac screen and it looks like it was made by Apple itself. I was not sure whether the height would be enough but now I am certain it is enough, more than enough it is excellent position for my desktop!
